MIT Technology Review has a good story about psiphon, and in particular the new service we are slowly building up. We have not said much about this service publicly because we are working carefully and quietly to build up its capacity to serve peoples' needs within censored countries. The article provides a nice introductory overview, here.

Today, Save the Bruins can claim a cautious victory. There is no doubt in our minds that the ownership felt the fans’ heat, particularly as that heat began mainlining back to Deliverance North and it’s dismal mismanagement of the Bruins. The latest signings of Chara and Savard are hopeful indeed, but let’s not forget who is standing in the shadows, peering from behind the black curtains with his yellow eyes and needle nose. Jerriatric Jacobs has intervened, and will again intervene, as soon as the team turns sour, and that’s bad news for us Bruins fans. So let’s hope Chiarelli has some relative autonomy here, and the Jacobs go back to their lair in Buffalo and leave the team alone.
Thankfully not all of us were spineless and womply. We can take credit for a victory in a moral campaign to save the bruins from ignominia. We didn’t just stand there munching on the hot dogs, drinking the koolaid and applauding the carnage. We will maintain our careful scrutiny as a watchdog organization, never letting up the heat until the Bruins dignity is restored. Wednesday, June 28

With the Bruins set to announce Dave Lewis as the new head coach, we at Save the Bruins say "WHO CARES!" It doesn't matter who the coach is, or the first round pick, or the latest trade, as long as those perverted wingnuts from Buffalo run the organization into the dirt. Nice how they kept Sullivan hanging around. I guess it could be worse -- they could have pushed him into a Deliverance North meat grinder and turned him into frozen turkey burger patties. Nothing will change until that old fart Jerriatric Jacobs and his half-wit son Chas are drven back to Hades.

While most reports are effusing praise over the Phil Kessel draft and the acquisition of Tuuko Rask, we here at Save the Bruins are a little less sanguine about the whole thing. It is hard to imagine anything positive happening in B-nation while the demented nutbars who own and operate the franchise continue to treat it like a tax write-off and a testtube laboratory for the mung they peddle off as "food" and "hospitality."
Here we go again, trading another known commodity and promising young prospect in Raycroft, for an unknown and unproven one. As for Kessel, he may be the next Craig Janney but why hold out hope when the nincompoop Jacobs clan have a proven track record of tortuous incompetence nurturing first round picks? Wait till Kessel gets a wiff of the stink coming from Delaware North, eh, the combination of urine and wet cabbage? First sign of weakness and they'll run his self-confidence into the dirt, and then trade him for a couple of fourth liners and a 2010 third round pick. Friday, June 23

Well I guess it's not surprising really that Joe Thornton, ex-captain of the Boston Bruins, has been awarded the MVP. For many of us Bruins fans, the Joe trade was the straw that broke the camels back and seemed to underline the cynical, money-grubbing incompetent way in which that senile, old bastard Jacobs has run this organization into the ground. In case you missed it, Joe Thornton and the Bruins will forever be linked, as Joe is the only player in NHL history to win the Art Ross and Hart trophies in the same year in which he was traded. Who on the earth would do something like that..... except for the inbred psychopathic Jacobs clan who run the Bruins? These guys care more about selling their poisonous-tasting gruel than putting a winning team on the ice. Jacobs MUST GO!

SAVE THE BRUINS is an international non-profit advocacy organization whose aim is to restore the dignity of the Boston Bruins franchise. There are major hurdles that need to be overcome to achieve this aim, not the least of which is the removal of the incompetent ownership regime. This Save the Bruins blog was created to serve as a resource base and news site to begin the Bruins' fans revolution. Here, you can share strategies, vent about the unceasingly odious Jacobs clan, and post whatever you want without someone censoring your comments. Blog away BRUINS FANS. Together, we can bring back the glory of 1970!!!!

You know when Chiarelli was hired as the GM of the Bruins, something stinky had to be going on, and I don't just mean in Gorten's underpants either. This article from the New England Hockey Journal exposes the fact that Chiarelli is an ole college buddy of a certain "Louis Jacobs." Yes, that's right Louis Jacobs -- the "son with the brains." No surprise here, folks. More of the same from the Jacobs Empire of Smut and Deceit.
